Welcome to Caddybytes Slide Show of the back nine holes of the Torrey Pines South golf course host to the Farmers San Diego Open a premier West Coast Swing golf tournament. Rees Jones was called in for a major redesign to attract a major championship. The native poana annua greens are back after an experiment to make them bent grass failed after the redesign. Greens and tees were moved to create more shot values and the course was lengthened to an unbelievable 7600 yards for the U.S. Open in 2008 - not quite that tough though for this venue. This is a great tract in it's own right. Click START SLIDE SHOW (image 1 through 26 of 26)
